Purpose
CTBUH Korea, a local Chapter of the CTBUH parent organization, is a nonprofit organization with support from specialists in buildings, engineering, planning, development, and construction. The purpose of our organization, founded in 2008, is to provide the best information on Tall Buildings and urban habitats, and to activate international exchange of business in tall buildings.

Goal
- Develop the latest technology for the construction of Tall Buildings as members of the Korean Chapter of CTBUH.
- Provide a place for the exchange of information through General Assemblies organized by CTBUH, International Conferences, and Technology Forums and Websites.
- Conduct studies on technology, systems, and policies affectingtall buildings.
- Establish and develop a council specific to the technology of Tall Buildings, differentiating ourselves from the existing construction or engineering councils, associations, etc.

Main Activities
- Research and study of building technology of Tall Buildings and related system, policies, and safety standard etc.
- Improvement of how Tall Buildings in cities and nearby relects society, economy and road.
- Matter related to fire safety of Tall Buildings and evacuation.
- Safe designing technology of Tall Buildings on earthquakes and wind.
- Consultation, Cooperation and Suggestion for self-realization of Tall Buildings.
- International Organizations related to Tall Buildings and Partnerships and Exchanges with Foreign Organization
- Holding Conference, Discussions and Workshop.
- Publishing of Newsletters and Issuing and Distributing of Other Publications.
- Training Specified Technical Staff of Technology on Tall Buildings.
